Here is some line art, detailing the costume that Asheru is wearing in the previous picture. I just picked the year 2044 because it was graphically interesting, but other than her rifle, all of her gear is based on current S.W.A.T. Tactical gear, and she is outfitted as a tactical sniper. The rifle is just based on some ballistic theories, and was done as an all meta/synthetic rifles with a telescoping bolt and free floating barrel (and a Burris Bipod). My entry for the EuroFurence conbook cover contest. "Night is falling over a sleepy German town, and the mist creeps in from the forested valleys. The townsfolk bar their doors and close their shutters, apprehensively glancing up at the lights of the great tower on the hill. There have been strangers there, they say. Foreigners, and worse. Unnatural creatures have been seen, and wild exotic music, and howling and laughter that seemed like both man and beast. You journey on towards the lights and the music. Maned Wolves are commonly known as "Foxes on Stilts". It seems the little red fox tried a bit -too- hard to be like his taller cousin! This original will probably be in the Art Show at Further Confusion 2009 (yes, January 2009). If not, I will probably auction it off on Furbuy.com. Prints of this will also be available soon, whenever I get the money to make prints :) If you think you want a print, send me a note.
